Sketch on Sunday

I drew my daughter on Sunday. I am very rusty indeed! This was the second attempt - the first looked more like me than her! This looks quite a bit like her..possibly I've added on a few years but I promised myself I'd post what I did.

  3. Hi Gabs, I dont know you or your daughter personally, have only seen photos, but as soon as I saw the drawing I knew it was your daughter before I read the words, and she does look quite like you to my eyes anyway. well done, its beautiful, and such simplicity of lines, too. You are a very multi-talented lady.

  4. Years ago, when I drew every day, someone told me that if I stopped I'd forget how to do it. Well, I know that's not true, but It's incredible how creaky and rusty you feel when you first start drawing from life again. This doesn't look rusty at all, and you are inspiring me to go and dig out a sketch book and pencil, it's lovely! Now, how to inspire Higgins to become an artists muse! xxx
